Join thousands of rugby fans and beer aficionados at Glendale's Bruises & Brews Beerfest on Saturday August 15, from 12-4 p.m. at Infinity Park in Glendale.

20 breweries will showcase their top brews, along with a few distilleries and a couple terrific hard ciders. Beer and rugby… they are better together!

For the complete Bruises & Brews Beerfest experience, fans also gain admittance to the 2015 Serevi RugbyTown Sevens tournament. (This would be the “Bruises” part!)

Rugby 7s is a fast paced, hard-hitting game that will debut at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for both men and women. These fast matches last for two seven-minute halves and feature seven players on each side. This year, 17 teams from five nations, including teams from each branch of the US Military, will be competing in 50 rugby matches over three days for a $10,000 purse.

Boulder Bike & Beer Fest

The Boulder Bike & Beer Fest, put on my Cyclists4Community, will take place on August 15, 2015 at Boulder's Valmont Park.

Beers, bands, and bikes - all supporting the Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance and the Emergency Family Assistance Association - does it get any better than that?

17 breweries will be on-site.

The day will kick off with clinics for mountain biking and cyclocross, covering a variety of skills such as cornering, riding stairs, mounting/dismounting, and sandpits. Participants of all ages will then be able to enter races around the track. Simultaneously, there wll be a dual slalom competition happening. Spectators will be invited to watch the competition while enjoying cold beer and other refreshments form some of Boulder's best breweries and restaurants. Singletrack Mountain Bike Adventures (SMBA) will conduct clinics and races, with the first clinics starting at 9am, MT, and races concluding at 6pm MT.

The Mission:
Join VW Bus fans from near and far Saturday, August 22nd, as Bristol's Brewing and Bulli Klinik presents, Buses at the Brewery 2015! This FREE event is open to all VW Buses as well as vintage VW's, Porsche's, and European Scooters. As in past events, Type 2's are given priority parking around the Brewery. Come celebrate these iconic vehicles at the historic Ivywild School! Offering patios and a modern taproom overlooking the Buses only parking area, this is sure to be a memorable event!

The Cruise:
The day begins with a cruise through the historic West side of our beautiful city. We will meet at the Garden of the Gods visitors center located at 1805 North 30th Street.. Take exit 146 off of Interstate 25, head West to 30th Street, then left to the entryway of Garden of the Gods. We will begin assembling cars for the cruise at 9:30 AM with a departure time of 10:00 sharp. The cruise will wind through some of the scenic routes our city has to offer with our destination being Bristol's Brewery. Bring your camera as there will be some not to be missed opportunities for photographs!

The Show:
Bristol's Brewing is located at 1604 South Cascade Ave, take exit 140 (Tejon Street) off of Interstate 25, South on Tejon 0.3 miles to a right on Navajo and you'll run right into it. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon perusing some of the finest VW's in Colorado at this non-judged event. Listen to classic sounds spun by DJ Nunn Chuck. Sample delicious treats from the bars, restaurants and shops of the Ivywild Collective. And of course, quaff an award winning brew, fresh from the source! We hope to see you there!!

2nd Annual Boulder Craft Beer Festival

Tickets for the 2nd annual Boulder Craft Beer Festival happening August 22nd are now on sale at www.BoulderCraftBeerFest.com. This year’s event will take place from 1 " 5 p.m. in West Central Park (west of Broadway on Canyon Boulevard).

New this year, more craft breweries from Boulder County and beyond will be participating for the first time including: Asher Brewing Co., Crystal Springs, Finkel & Garf and more. Also new, VIP ticket option ($50 in advance) includes early entry (at noon) and a commemorative t-shirt. Only a limited number of VIP tickets will be sold.

Craft beer enthusiasts will sample over 45 craft beers on tap and enjoy live music by Strange Americans from 12:30 " 2:30 p.m. and The Railsplitters from 3 " 5 p.m. There will also be a variety of food trucks providing delectable eats (for purchase) and a selection of lawn games (ping-pong & cornhole) set up for (free) use throughout the event.

General admission ticket prices are $35 in advance and include a commemorative sampling glass, 2 oz pours and small tasty snacks provided by Kettle Brand. All attendees are urged to taste responsibly. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed to sample. Prior to entry, IDs will be checked and wristbands will be provided. A Designated Driver (DD) ticket is available for $10 in advance and includes unlimited non-alcoholic beverages and a $10 Food Ticket voucher redeemable with all food vendors onsite. Join in for the 5th annual Save the Ales on Thursday, August 27 to taste beers from 40 Colorado breweries and learn about Conservation Colorado’s efforts to protect one of Colorado's most important natural resources " the water that runs through our rivers and sustains our livelihoods.

All attendees will enjoy unlimited beer tastings, drawings for beer swag, live music, and access to food trucks throughout the evening. VIP tickets include all that PLUS early entry to the event, food, a commemorative tasting glass, and entry into an exclusive VIP-only drawing.

Last but not least, there will be a beer brewed exclusively for this year’s Save the Ales " the Fir Needle Ale by Crazy Mountain Brewery!

Palletfest

With over four billion shipping pallets in circulation, 200 million of them end up in landfills annually. PalletFest, the second-year event that will return on August 29th & 30th, celebrates the limitless creative possibilities of waste: with a space built out of thousands of wooden shipping pallets, attendees can shop, enjoy entertainment, and explore nearly 40 Upcycled artists and vendors inspired by the spirit of recycling and reuse.

The festival will be held at Sculpture Park in the Denver Performing Arts Complex from 10am-10pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday; admission is free to the public with an option to purchase a very special VIP experience.

2nd Annual Oktoberfest- T.e.v. Edelweiss

Come join in for our 2nd Annual Oktoberfest Season Kick-Off. Events will start at noon on Saturday with opening ceremonies, have music from the Continentals, and the Rhinelanders, performances by the Schuhplattlers and the Volkstanzgruppe.

They will have home cooked German food and ice cold beer from Prost Brewing. This year they have a special treat as the world famous Andechs beer will also be available in limited quantities. They will have lots of activities and games as well. They will start to wind down around 11 p.m., but you are welcome to stay and dance the night away.

Sunday events will start at noon again with their fruehschoppen. The Average German Band takes the stage for your dancing pleasure. The Schuhplattlers will return for performances, and they will have more games and fun. At 4:00 they will have happy hour and food specials.

Both days are family friendly. Entrance is $7 for adults $3 for kids 6-15, Free for kids 5 and under.
